Local Vocal Chord Bowl

Started in 2005 and now an annual tradition, the Local Vocal Chord Bowl is a musical celebration that supports music enrichment in the Amherst and Northampton public schools. 

Produced by the Green Street Brew and held on in the spring on alternating years at each high school, the event spotlights the vocal talents of numerous high school, college, and adult singing groups.

The 15th Local Vocal concert was held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Northampton High School and featured the Northamptones, the ARHS Hurricane Singers, the ARHS Chorale, the NHS Chamber Choir, UMASS S#arp Attitude, Smith College Blackappella/POCappella, The Cider House Five, and the Green Street Brew.
